BRAN AND POLLARD.
CHRISTCHURCH, July 4. : The president of the Farmers' TJnioiv. urged the Minister of Railways to,putbran and pollard on the same' footing: for carriage .on the railways"as chaff, otherwise it will havo a serious effectoa the pig and poultry business. The Minister replied that he would give' careful consideration to the matter.
