PUKEKIiiFSO MINERS.
AUCKLAND, June 13
The "Herald's" correspondent telegraphs that a mass meeting of miners was held at Pukemiro to-day, when the company's proposals were rejected. The opinion was expressed that in view of tn.6 projected working of the State mine m the vicmiTy the Government should, take over and work the Pukemiro mine. There are indications that further negotiations are ÜbUiess and that the dispute wiil go into the hands oi: tiie of Labour.
