The chances of winning prizes valued at about £6300 will nob bo available to the public after Juno 30. This is' the date of the dosing of ( the _ Trentham [Dominion' Scholarships Art Union, which offere a first prize yahied at £1000, and 170 others, making up the total given. Certainly it would be hard to find a Better investment for odd shillings than- the Art Union that offers such attractive winnings. The isplendid object of this Fund, which.is to educate the children of New Zealand's fallen heroes, is another inducement to contribute willingly and liberally. The tickets are on sale all over New Zealand, or can be obtained direct from the Secretary, P.O. Box 281, Wellington. In writing for jackets, stamped addressed envelopes should be included. The Secretary points out that the time is getting very short, and those who are selling tickets should do their utmost to make the greatest possible sales dnring the final month.
