Glorious weather prevailed to-day for the Winter meeting of the Ashburton ; Trotting Giub. An anticipated the attendant, in keeping with, the fields, was exceptionally large..; The special train from Christchurch was well patronised, and likewise the Timaru train, while the County, supporters of trotting turned out in* full force.
