: , NEW YORK, May 1. Soldiers %id sailors stormed a May Day Labour demonstration in Madison Square. < The police reserves dispersed the crowds, who left three dead. At Cleveland (Ohio) I.W.W. members started a riot when soldiers seized a red flag carried in the procession. A Washington message says that as a result of attempts te assassinate prominent Americans it has been decided ,to round; up and deport anarchists, members of the I.W.W. and Bolshevists. The Government is determined to root out anarchists throughout the country.

The "New York World's" Boston correspondent states that three policemen were shot, and a number of persons injured in the May Day riots between soldiers and Radicals.
