JUTLAND BATTLE.
DAMAGE TO BRITISH SHIPS
LONDON, March 7
The Admiralty is shortly issuing details of the damage suffered by vessels in the Jutland battle.
The -Australian (Press Association learns that the . Marlborough was struck by a torpedo, the dynamo room, hydraulic room, and one boiler room being flooded.
The Barham was hit twice, no great material damage was done, .although there were heavy casualties in the medical and wireless staffs.
The Colossus was hit fayice, causing a fire on the gun deck. The damage was not serious.
The Malaya was hit eight times. A six-inch gun was damaged, and the mountings wrecked. The inner and outer oil bunkers were flooded, and slight damage done to the after turret.
