COPENHAGEN. March 6
There has* been, it renewal of the outbreak iv Berlin:, especially fronting the police prefecture. The Spartacists at-, tempted to demolish the doo,rs with grenades, but were shot. Spartacists occupying neighbouring buildings then began general firing. The Government troops energetically replied. A. large body of • Spartaciste attempted to storm the buildings, bub were repulsed by artillery fire.. Detachments of sailors next approached behind the barricades, carrying machine guns. Meanwhile tin.-, pillaging of shops- was renewed. COPENHAGEN, March 8. Sensational messages front Berlin' state that. the fighting, was. violent around the police'headquarters.".. The city'was in darkness owing, to a strike of electricians and gas workers. ■■ ■ * ' A cannonade continued all night long, a number of persons being killed. Government troops, numbering 50,000 then entered. -Mid surrounded the centre of the city.
