Commander Long, Chief of the Naval Intelligence.-.'..Department, stated that the breaking open of a safe belonging to the Austrian Consul at Zurich, after the ■ sinking of the Dreadnought Leonard da Vinci, prevented the destruction of two other Dreadnoughts, and the Chamber of Deputies.
