A London cablegram announces the .death oi' Uiiron Michclham. He was the son oi' Huron Hermann de Stern, v baron of Portugal, and was born in 185 J. It is estimated that he was worth 20 millions. His son was married on Saturday, and Baron Michelham jiavo the brido, Miss Beatrice Capo!, one million.

M. -le Commandant d'Andre, who is A.D.G. to General Pau, is a officer of a most genial disposition, and during the present tour has established himself as a general favourite. He was taken prisoner by the Germans during the war, and after being hold for some time was released in oxchange for another officer of similar rank. M. Henry Rene, the General's orderly, saw sictive service in Salonika. and at the Somrae. He received a bullet wound in the head, and was also wounded by shrapnel in the thigh. On his return to Paris he waß appointed orderly to General Pau to accompany him on the present tour. Mr William W % Archer, who is courier to the mission, is an employee of the Prime Minister's Department at Melbourne. He has travelled with the mission throughout the Australian and New Zealand tour. Captain Bryan, a New Zealand officer, who has been on activo service, is attached to the mission during the New Zealand tour.
