A deputation of representatives of •h'ne towns presented to tho Premier a resolution condemning lln> German treatment of prisoners, in favour of retaining the German colonins, 'cio•manding the prohibition of imports' from enemy countries, the confiscation vi enemy grains, and legislation to make 1 enemy trading -impossible in L'iture. The Premier replied that the first t',vo questions would be decided at the Peace Conference. Regarding the others, he pointed out that one. of President Wilson's points 'precluded economic war after peace.
