LONDON, April 7. A French communique reports: —Last evening we repulsed an enemy attack in the Grivesnes region. Tlie.re was great reciprocal artillery activity 'during tlio night between Montdidier and. Noyon. A strong enemy detachment, which gained a footing in our advanced line west of Noyon, was immediately drivun out by our counter-attacks. The Germans have not renewed the- attempts in the Chauny-Jijirissi's district. On the Oi.se, front enemy coups, do main north of Chomin dcs Dames wore unsuccessful. Rhoims was very vio-. lontly bombarded last night.
