(Received April 8, 10.30 a.m.) . LONDON, April G .(.11...10 p.m.). A feature of tho battle has\been the emergence, of Ludendorff from "Hmdenburg's mastery. Ludendorff has long been recognised as the-real brain of the German Staff, and is now acclaimed as tho director of the battle. The linal decision on -all battle questions is-now referred to Ludeifiiorff. . The weather has improved, but the visibility is still poor. Th main attacks to-day wore over marshy ground. Corbie stands upon a miniature peninsular iormed by ' the' junction ot the Auenerc and the Somiiw. ! 6 .
