RAILWAYMEN'S DEMANDS
(Received Feb. 5, 12.15 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 42 The National Union-of Railway-men's Conference, at Leicester" passed a,..resolution demanding all-round' food rationing, and advising the branches not to work on Saturdays, when members should stand in food queues instead of their women-folk. The "Daily Telegraph" states that though the demonstration at Glasgow yesterday denounced the Man-Power Bill, the general situation on the Clyde during the week-end had improved. Meetings in various shipyards and engi- | neering shops pledged themselves to i | support the Government. A meeting at Newcastle supported the Amalgamated Engineers' Executive.
