CHRISTCHUHCH LAD DROWNED.
WESTPORT, Jan. 27. James Dick. Hastio, an able-bodied seaman belonging to the Union Company's steamer Ivini, single, 20 years of age, fell into the Buller River yesterday afternoon and was drowned. His body was recovered at 2.35 this morning.
