At Burnside. to-day, 153 fat cattle were penned, the majority being medium and light bullocks. The demandT:waß keen, and prices* were higher thaia'last week. Prime heavy, bullocks made £30 2s 6d, medium £19 10s to £0,2b 6d, others' £18/ and■ bfest cows £19,-•'■medium £15 to 17, others £12 arid upwards. / , , Sheep.—Two, thousand nine hundred and seventy were penned. The yard-, ing of heavy sheep was in excess of butchers' requirements, and prices declined Is 6d to 2s per head. Medium weights sold at about late rates, and prime heavy wethers made 53s to 58s, prime 48s to 535, medium 42s to 465, light-and unfinished 36s to 40s, extra prime' ewes 53s 3d, one extra special 70s 3d, heavy 45s to 51s 9d, medium 40s to 46s,rfOthers 35s and upwards. ''■Lambs.—Four hundred and thirtyfitfc were penned. Best made 325, medium 25s to 27s 6d.
