At the Addington market to-day therp were larger yardings of stock in all' the principal departments. Prices all round were, generally ■ easier. Fat cattle showed a decline of about' £2 per -head, and dry store ■"sheep were | down about 2s 6d and ewes Is 6d to ! 2s 6d, compared with a fortnight ".be-, fore. ■'Larger"''yardings 'of fat sheep and fat lambs also resulted in lower prices, the former"'being down 3s' to. This class of cattle met with good demand and sold up to £16 per head. Other sorts, were difficult to dispose of, and many were passed. Pigs wero easier. Sheep. Store Sheep.—2-tooth shorn ewes to 26s 6d, 4 and 6-tooth ewes with lambs all counted 22s 7d to 23s 6d (shorn ewes 18s 7d), sound-mouth ewes and lambs all counted to 22s 9d (shorn ewes 18s 3d). 2 and 4-tooth wethers to 27s 6d, ,4 and 6-tooth 34s 9d to 42s Id, merino wethers to 26s 3d, shorn 19s 7d; ewe hoggets to 335; wether hoggets to 255, shorn 22k 5d to 22s 9d, mixed sex hoggets .to 33s 3d.
