TO ACCEPT RESIGNATIONS

PARIS, October 243. Following a Cabinet Council, M. Painleve tendered the Cabinet'vS resignation, but President Poincaire refused to accept it, pointing out that the Chamber, on Friday, voted its confidence in tne«Government. The Ministers thereupon placed their resignations in the hands of the President of the Councils who will examine the situation.
