On Timrsday last, the Wa-tertot Senior Cadotb held si concert in aid-o-the local Red Crosi. kinds. The. chau .' was occupied by Mr N. The following tool part in the programme:—Selection ot bagpipes, Mr Mac Donald ; songs, M&s dames Holmes, and Taylor and Mi« Watson; duet*', Misses Watson anc Pollock; comic items, Messrs S. Tay lor, -V March, and Cadet H. Unice A song by Mr McDonald bHiught ii the sum of lfy*. At the conclusion o tho concert paii-h of socks, pre .senled by Mr<-. fro4lins. were '-old to the sum of £2 13s, the buyer beinj Mrs Pearson, who gave them to tin Red Cross branch. Supper was thei handed round by the Indies, and th< hall was cleared for dancing. 'The boys wore also each presented with a parcel, of knitted comforts made by the Waterton Red Cross ladies, andsuitably acknowledged the girts.. Mr* N. Maxch and W.
