RUSSIANS ABANDON MOHM ISLAND.
LONDON, Oct. 20
A Russian official report states:— Under pressure of superior naval forces' ive abandoned Mohn Island. Our trawlers discovered enemy minefields sown with the intention to close the entrance to. the Riga Gulf from Mohn aound. These operations, in conjunction with uhe landing of detachments on Dago island, show the enemy's desire to destroy tho naval forces defending this region.
A German official report states:— We landed troops on Dago Island.
