PENDARVKS
On Saturday evening the vehklenla of L'ondarves met at the liiili to bid bood-bye and God-speed to Private J. Desmond, who was present on final leave. A pleasant social evening was spent, items being given by Mrs Reid and Miss R^mkin, while music for dancing was supplied by Miss Dallas and members; of tho Itanldn family. In a short speech, Mr J. Cuttibert wished tho departing soldier the best of luck, and handed him the usual present. Private Desmond suitably responded.
