BURNSIDE STOCK MARKET.
DUNEDIN, Sept. 26
At Burnside to-day 204 f fat cattle were yarded, including some well-fin-ished bullocks. Prices were firm at Tate rates. Extra prime bullocks made £25 2s 6d, primo £20 2s Gd to £23 10s, medium £18 to £19 10s, light and unfinished £15 to £17, extra heavy cows and heifers £19 12s 6d, prime £15 to £17 10s, others £11 to £13 10s. Sheep.—2ooo wore yarded, mostly wethers. The market was firmer, owing to a. number of graziers operating; and prices were Is above last week's values. Extra heavy wethers made 54s 3d, prime 48s to 50s 9d, medium 40s to 465, lighter 36s to 395,. a few show wethers to 765, prime ewes' ids
9d, medium to good 39s to 42s 6d, others 30s to 365. Six spring lambs were' 1 penned, realising up to 35s 9d.
