U.A.O.D.

The usual fortnightly meeting of the- Star of Ashbuvton," U.A.0.D., was held m the Masonic Hall on Monday. A large number of members we'e-r present. Four new members were initited into the order by J.P.A. Bro. Jones. The bards reported on sick brothers, and sick pay duo was -passed for payment. At the close, of the' lodge a card match was played against the" Foresters' Lodge; in which, the visitors' were-victorious. Supper wa.s then 'served' by "the Entertainment Committee, and ah enjoyable evening waa J brought to a close by singiiig "Auld Lang Syne."
