Afternoon Sitting. The House met at 2.30 p.m

"Hansard."

Mr Wright brought down a report from the Printing and Reporting ])e----bates Committee which recommended a drastic curtailment of■'■'•' reports of proceedings of .'the" House in "Hansard" on account of the shortage of paper. The debate was, on the motion of the Holi. Gr. W. Russell, adjourned for a week.

The chairman of the same committee also brought down a report recommending a reduction in the number of copies of "Hansard" supplied to members.

Tha debate continued till 5.30, when the motion was talked out.
