UPROAR IN THE DUMA.

CZAR JOINS THE ARMY

VANCOUVER, March 15. The Berln official agency gives details of tho revolution at Petrograd.

It alleges that food rjots, following general disturbances arid street parades at Petrograd and Moscow, led to a clash between the mounted police and the populace. Uproar broke out in tho Duma when its President, M. Rodzianko, and M. Miliukoff (leader of the Cadets Constitutionalists) fiercely assailed the Government. The Premier closed the sitting. Members actually threatened Ministers with their fists. The excitement in the streets grew. The printers struck in the printing offices, leaving the city without newspapers. On Saturday the troops fraternised with the people, and allowed it to be known that they would not fire on thorn despite thrr orders of their superiors. Looting occurred, and thr police and strikers frequently clashed. Finally M. Rodzianko despatched a special courier to the Czar, demanding the dismissal of the Government, sy declining the responsibility of coming events if the Czar supported tho Premier, Princo Galatzin. The latter answered the letter by dissolving tho Duma. The Czar thereupon left Petrograd for his palace at Tsarskoe Selo, en route to the army at the front.

The revolution then entered its final stage. ' Particulars are not disclosed, but it ended in the establishment of a Revolutionary Committee and a. Revolutionary Government. .
