THE DANDIES.
Mr Edward Branscombe's company of entertainers, known as the "Pink Dandies," will make their first appearance in Ashburton next Saturday evening ab the Theatre Royal. A norther en. exchange iv refermg to them, says:—"Good wine needs no bush, and a 'Bnmscombe company need no introduction." "The Dandies" have been appearing for several consecutive seasons in the dominion, and the merit of their enterainraents has secured for them a. large following. The combination of artists appearing next week are isaid to ho the most proficient of all / "Dandies," a recommendation worth consideration when the performances of past companiesj are remembered. The company* consists of several excellent singers," and a. quartet of comedians ! and" comediennes. Their efforts to provide a bright and 'breezy entertainment have been very successful in other places, and their visit, locally should be awaited with interest.
