THE COUNCIL request* OCCUPIERS and OWNERS to EFFECT A THOROUGH AND EFFICIENT CLEARANCE of WATER RACES during the undermentioned period:— I.—E RACE and Branches, Rakaia to Cherteey, 'August 7th to 12th August, inclusive, '.: II. —C.j D.j and Branches, CherteeyDromore, 14th to 19th August, inclusive. 111.—A., 8., and F., including Winchmore Main, Dromore, Ashburton, 20th to 26th August, inclusive. IV.—AH Races between the South Branch of the Aehburton and Rangitata Rivers; also Wakanui Flat and Seafield Main, 28th August to 2nd September, inclusive. V.—Ashburton Forks. Mount Somers, and Alford Races., 4th to 9th September, inclusive. Proceedings will be taken (without further notice) under Clause 10 of the Waterworks By-laws where Races have not been thoroughly cleaned by the 30th September, 1916.
