k TIMARU,/May 29. The Supreme Court was occupied all day over a charge against a young nun ried man, a driver of a baker's cart, charged with failing to account for £64, collected for his employer. Ihe defence was that the apparent shortages were duo to faulty bookkeeping by the employer. The jury took this view and accused was acquitted. The Fairlie burglary cases will bo heavd to-morrow.
