STEEL WORKS DAMAGED AND
SHIP SUNK

Lloyd's reports that an Austrian submarine entered Civita Vecchia and shelled a .steel works, causing slight damage. The submarine also shelled and sank a collier, killing a sailor.
Cirita Vncfihin is a fortified town and seaport. 37 miles west-north-west of Romo.
