FOOD SUPPLIES.
LONDON, May 26. The Berne correspondent of the "Daily Mail" says that there is no evidenco whatever to show that there is not enough food in Germany under a system of equitable distribution. There is, ho says, conclusive proof that the German Army is well fed and supplied with luxuries unknown to most civilians. . The German Press is not enthusiastic over the now Ministerial changes and tho new food organisation through the so-called Nutrition Offico,' which excludes all separate initiative on the part of tho State Governments. Tho main difficulty is in regard to meat and milk supplies. AMSTERDAM, May 27. % The "Berliner Tageblatt" says the commune of Friedmann, near Berlin has adopted stringent regulations, and is numbering meat tickets to stop noting and tho looting of butchers' shops. There is a great shortage of eggs. which are being sold for 7d each. Dealers are asking for the abolition of the egg trade monopoly.
