AN EMPHATIC PROTEST

The executive of the New Zealand Catholic Federation has passed . the following resolution:—" That., whilst unopposed to the principle'of grants to denominational bodies for patriotic purposes, we do emphatically protest against the action of the Dunodin Patriotic Committee in discriminating between denominations, in allocating money subscribed by the general public."
