MEMBERS OF CHRISTCHURCH
HOSPITAL STAFF

Tiie sinter in ciiargo of the Coronation Hospital (Sister Trumblc) has been called up by tiie military authorities to go to the front with the New Zealand nurses, and at yesterday's meeting of the North Canterbury Hospital and CharitabJe Aid Board she was granted the necessary leave of absence, and the board unanimously agreed to a motion of appreciation of the sister's patriotism. Sister Trumble has been in the board's service for a number of years, recoiving her training at the Christchurch Hospital, after which she had charge of Bottle Lake Hospital for a considerable time, ultimately resigning so that she might take her maternity course. She again joineft the board's service, some months ago to. take the sistership under Dr. Blackmore. Another of the. Hospital's staff .who has received a military appointment is Mr Bell, who has been acting senior dental.surgeon for the past 15 months.
Sister Mcßae and Sister Rhoda McRao have also been called/for active service. Sister Mcßae has been on the Hospital staff for seven years, and for over three years of that time has held the position of night charge sister.
