CONCILIATION COURT.
WELLINGTON, November 24. Tho Wellington freezing works industrial dispute was considered by the Conciliation Council to-day. The union demands are for an eight-hour'day on five days in the week, to be;.'w.ork©3 between 7 a.m. and 5 p-m:,' and four hours on Saturday. Piece-work rates remain as in the previous award, bait an increase to Is 4£d. an hour is sought in the rate for general workers. Consideration hae not yet 1 been concluded.
