-1 The following additional donations have been received by'the local subcentre of the St. John Ambulance Association towards the recent Empire Red Cross appeal:—Miss ' J. Wilson, 14s 2d; collected in Springburn, Staveley, and Alford Forest by Mrs L. Moses (Springburn) £12, of which £6 15s 3d has been acknowledged in the amount received from Mount Somers.
