Sir E. Grey, in the House of Commons, said that the Persian gendarmerie at Shiraz revolted under foreign officers and took prisoner, the British Consul and other- Britishers.
PETROGRAD, November 23
-' Teheran advices-Jtato that several hundred' gendarmes and irregulars, officered by Germans, made a wight attack on Harnadan. The Cossacks in the latter were forced to retire but saved tho town.
