BUSINESS NOTICES. BUSINESS NOTICE. I HAVE RESUMED the SOLE PROPRIETORSHIP of the Business for many years carried On under the namo of ASHBURTON DRUG I COMPANY, and my .personal attention will bo given to every order entrusted to me. . The . DIST EN SING of a Physician's PRESCRIPTION calls for the most minute care and exactness. I can lay claim to a longer and wider EXPERIENCE that falls to the lot of most Chemists of the present day. I am an E N GLT S H Chemist, holding in addition the New Zealand certilicate, and I dispense every prescription, in the English way. The stereotyped advertisement, "Pure Drugs" is not the only factor in intelligent prescription, work, long experience; counts,; integrity counts, and just what: the prescribes intended, MUST go into: the medicine. That's a hard and fast rule in English dispensing. Drugs may be pure, but they may. have lost some of their potency from age, or exposure. An English Chemist has been, trained to test his drugs,, by the aid of the microscope and by assay. EURORS i in dispensing are here REDUCED TO: A MINIMUM. NO POISONS are kept on my shelves, but are, and always have been, kept under lock and key.; That's another English rule. THE (COST, ! is an important, but: it never should be| a primary consideration, in a doctor's j prescription. In comparison with;) prices ranging two years ago, there are.^ very many Drugs which cost as much j per ounce as they then did per pound; but in the hope of a return to normal, prices in. the near futurp, I have not raised my dispensing charges. There are, however, some Drugs Lthe advanced cost of which is,so enormous, such as Aspirin, and Salicylate of Soda, that it is impossible in honest dispensing, to continue the old prices. You have implicit COXFID E N-0 E in your medical attendant. I ask you to place, the same confidence in me as your Dispenser. ALL the Ashburton Doctors allow you to choose your Dispenser, an,d I for my part will, if you choose ma, see that your (confidence is: not misplaced.
