THE WEATHER.

On Sunday nijzht Highbank was visited by a sharp frost, which took all the potatoes which were up. There was also a frost on Monday night. The following is the Government Meteorologist's forecast:—"The indications are for northerly winds, and backing by west to south. Weather, clouding over: rain later. Barometer falling, but ' rising after about 10 hours."
