COLDSTREAM ROAD BOARD.

A meeting of the' Coldstream . Road Board was held on Friday last. Present: Messrs W. R\ Stevens (chairman), G. Tilson 3 and H. Wills. Mr \V. Jewell sent jin apology for absence. As'vdeputatjlon ..was received froim the Ashburton County W«r- Relief vCommittee in the persons of- Messrs J. It. Brown and D. .Wood. These gentlemen laid- the wh'olo schenio ,of the County War. Relief FuricLbeforo^the Board, and it was deeded 4nat two of the mem--bers should be appointed to the Ashburton . Committee. Me&srs Steven's and Tilson were appointed. The Ashburton County Council wrote ! enclosing a copy of a report of a com- ■ mittee which had considered the question of dealing ■ with noxious weeds in I the County.
