IMPORT DUTY SUGGESTED

The " Morning Poet," in a leading article, states: "Mr Bonar Law says that the financial position.is extremely dangerous. Experience teaches us _the remedy. A duty.; on imports, united with a system of preferential agreements with the Dominions, would save this; country and 'unite th.p: Empire. The Dominions would be encouraged to grow more food and to look inside the Empire for the future.'
