A RECEIVER APPOINTED. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON," October -■*. The Government is sending to Samoa a receiver for the Deutsche Handels und Plantagen Gesellschaft. The officer is Mr A. Mr Matheson had enlisted for service with the Expeditionary Forces, but the Government decided to employ, him for special duty. Referring to this matter to-day, the Hon. J. Allen said that Colonel Logan, the administrator of Samoa, had taken charge of the German company already.
