At a meeting of the Labour Council, ftfee Tailors' Union moved a vote of no•eotofidence in the Holman Government owing to its failure to introduce industrial legislation, as promised. An amendment inviting Mr Holman to attend a council meeting to discuss forthcoming legislation was 1 carried by 70 rotes to 59.
