(Per Press Association —Copyright). (Received October 15, 8.50 a.m.) i MELBOURNE, October 15. ! Sir Alexander Peacock (State Prej mier) delivered his budgot yesterday. No new taxation is proposed. The revenue was £10,248,761, exceeding the estimate by £17,402; expenditure, £11,444;231, exceeding the estimate by €212,872; 'deficit, £1,195,470. It is estimated that the expenditure, for -the current year .will be £11,4.77,602, including an increase of £298,631 in the extra interest on the public.-.debt, and £110,000 i loss on imported wheat. ' It is stated that the Stafo .Coal Mine showed a profit for the year,,6f £10,640, and the shipbuilding yard 3. .profit of £2333. The State cool store and beet sugar factory both showed small losses.
