DIVERSION OF AUSTRIAN TROOPS

' Milan reports state that the six Austrian armies engaged with Russia are each furnishing an Army_ Corps for tho Isonzo front. • The Austrian ■headquai'.- j' ters have selected tho youngest and more vigorous of tho regiments. Austrian Alpine regiments have also been withdrawn from Russia for uee in Italy.' The total of Austrians acting against Italy at present is' 200,000 on ilve Isonzo ' and in the Carso operations, and '40,000 in the Tyrol aud in the Trentino.
