GAINS AND LOSSES. (Received Augustll, 12.55 p.m.) AMSTERDAM,- August 10. . i A Turkish communique states: — .Under the protection of the Fleet, the enemy, on the night of August 7, landed forces, partly in the neighbour-^ hood of Karaschali, north of the Gulf of Saros, and partly at two points northward of Ari Burun. We compleioly dispersed those landed at I£arat-chali,-where the enemy left 20 dead. Those northward of, Ari Burun slightly advanced,' arid, under the Fleet's protection, we repelled the attacks < capturing some soldiers and officers. We had considerable success in repelling attacks ne»r Seddel Bahr.
