Beautiful weather coftttitioru; prevailed to-day. The sun was shining brightly from early morning, when it was fairly cold. There was a moderately strong nor'-west breeze blowing this afternoon. Four degrees oP frost was registered this morning.
Mr Bates's forecast to-day was as follows:—The indications arc for westerly winds, moderate to strong, with a southerly tendency. Expect <:!i:ingcable anil showery ' weather. Barometer unsteady.
