McILWICK WINS NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIP. TIMARU, August 4. 'George Mcllwick, of Timaru, won the New Zealand Live Pigeon Championship to-day, scoring the possible. W. A Parsons (Rangiora), was second with 20 birds out of 21. L. Eccles (Marl--1 borough), J. Fleming, (Stratford), and J. P. Hughes (Auckland), tied for third place. In the shoot-off, Eccles won.
