GERMAN DESERTERS IN HOLLAND.
ESCAPE OF INTERNED BELGIANS
(Received August 5, 9.30 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, August 4. Two thousand German deserters crossed Holland in June, and 150 surrendered to the Dutch on hearing they had been ordered to the. front. This frontier was left unguarded, and so 600 Belgians were enabled to escape.
