CEREBRO-SPINAL-MENINCITIS.
SERIOUS CASE ON A TRAIN. DANNEVIRKE, August 4. As the express train passed through D.annevirke yesterday, a soldier named Private Robinson, on leave from the Waikanae training camp, and-going-to Gisborne, had to be taken from the train and admitted to the Dannevirke Hospital, where he was found to be suffering from cerebro-spinal-meningi-tis.
The Health Department has issued instructions to isolate contacts, and steps are being taken to prevent' the spread of the disease. The invalid's condition is said to be very serious.
