A YOUNG WOMAN'S SUICIDE.
News was received in Ashburton early last evening of the sudden death of Margaret Georgina Low, a single girl, aged 26 years, who was found in the chaff-house at her brother's farm, j "Holinwood/A'Barr Hill,, 12 miles from jMethven, .• with; her :throat cut, the; -wound evidently haying been inflicted with a razor. , The circumstances point to suicide. The deceased was wellknown in Ashburton, having been employed in the drapery department of the local' branch of the New, Zealand Farmers' Co-operative Association,' Ltd. She had been suffering from a.' ' nervous > breakdown, and was: in the ! charge of a nurse. ; To-day sho was to. have started on a two-months' holiday trip to the North Island. Mr R. J. Low, of Barr Hill, is her brother. The ■ Coroner lias been informed and an in-' ' quest will be held.
