Beef—Only a small quantity of New Zealand beef ..is on the. market and is selling at, hindquarters 7£d, forequarters 6Jd> chilled hindquarters B£d, forequarters 65d. BUTTER, • The market is quiet'but'firm. Danish is firm but quiet; 164s to 1665, and up to 1685.; Siberian is in good demand; finest 128s to 1325, exceptionally good 1345. ' Irish creampry Ls firm; 148s to 150s, exceptionally good 1525. Australian 138s'to T42s. Argentine, unsaltjed, is firm; 146s to 148s. 1 - CHEESE. The market is quiet, with a tendency in favour of buyers. For Canadian there is a little better tone; white and coloured' 74s to 765. For English Cheddar the market is quiet; 94s to 965. The New '-Zealand market .is /, quiet j white and .coloured'74s; to, ,765, exceptionally good 78s. The United States market is dull; 60s. to 745, according to quality and size. . ■ WHEAT.
