RUSSIANS NOT BROKEN
. AMSTERDAM, August 1. The tone of the German newspapers has been restrained, .apparently for the purpose of preparing the public, for disappointment at the non-fulfilment of the predicted" Russian debacle.
Colonel Morah soys that the Grand Duke Nicholas has done more than.the Germans expected, but his tri.il-will, be too hard. 'In the next series ni! ovorits the main theatre will bs' on the Ivaii-gorod-Cholhi line, and probably the fortress of Brest-Lito'vsk, which will exercise magnetic attraction upon the Russians. ; :
